Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Quelo (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and how you stay in control of it. Quelo is an interview-assistance tool that transcribes interview questions and generates suggested answers. By using Quelo you agree to the practices described here.
1. What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not see or store your Google password.
- Context you provide. Any resume text, job description, or tone preference you paste into your dashboard, so the assistant can tailor answers to you.
- Audio during a session. While a session is active, short audio clips of the interviewer's question are captured on your device and sent to our speech provider for transcription. We do not store this audio.
- Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Razorpay. Your card details are handled entirely by Razorpay — we never receive or store them. We retain a payment and order identifier to manage your subscription.
- Basic usage data. Subscription status, trial usage count, and referral activity tied to your account.
2. How we use it
- To transcribe questions and generate suggested answers in real time.
- To personalize answers using the resume and job-description context you provide.
- To manage your account, subscription, and free-trial allowance.
- To operate the referral program.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your resume or interview content to train any models.
3. Third-party services
Quelo relies on a small set of processors to function:
- Google — authentication (sign-in).
- Groq — speech-to-text and answer generation. Question audio and text are processed here transiently.
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- MongoDB Atlas & Vercel — database and hosting.
Each processes data only to provide its service, under its own privacy terms.
4. Audio & screen privacy
Audio is captured only while a session is running and is used solely to transcribe the question. It is not recorded or retained after transcription. The desktop app's answer window uses OS-level capture protection so it does not appear in screen recordings or shares — Quelo itself never captures or transmits your screen.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account exists. Resume and job-description context remain until you change or clear them in your dashboard. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see below).
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. To make a request, email harshsinghzero@gmail.com from your account address and we'll action it.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit what we collect in the first place.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
